How to get there
Lake Kenyir Resort, Taman Negara – Home of the Hornbills is located on the east coast of Peninsula Malaysia, in the traditional heartland state of Terengganu. A leisurely 45min drive (60km) from the Kuala Terengganu airport, it is the only international class resort located at Lake Kenyir. It is situated next to Pengkalan Gawi Jetty, the main entry to Lake Kenyir and the nearest access point to Taman Negara.

By Car
Lake Kenyir is located within the Hulu Terengganu and Felda Aring – Gua Musang border, which is situated midway between the east and west coasts of Malaysia. The nearest town to Kenyir is Kuala Berang-Ajil which is connected by the new Jerangau-Jabor (LPT) Highway. Driving to Lake Kenyir from Kuala Lumpur takes about five hours.

From north, take the North-South Highway and head north towards Gerik exit or Simpang Pulai exit. Both take approximately four to five hours.

By Bus
A direct bus service, the Tasik Kenyir Express departs daily from TBS (Terminal Bas Sepadu) Badar Tasik Selatan to Tasik Kenyir. Fare approximately RM 50 nett per person per way.

By Flights
Regular scheduled flights such as MAS, AIRASIA departs daily from KLIA/KLIA2. Meanwhile Firefly and Malindo Air operates from Sultan Azlan Abdul Aziz, Skypark Subang to Sultan Mahmud Airport. Then from there hop-on to a taxi or limousine, 45-minute to the Lake Kenyir Resort.
